Goals

So, on my first post I mentioned that I have goals.  This blog will help me to stay accountable for my goals and allow me to have a record for when I do reach a goal without getting distracted.  Notice, I could be working on a project at this moment, but I am typing up a list online instead....

I figure, once this list is out in the open I have to stick to it.  So here goes:
1. Post on blog daily (or as close to that as possible)
2. Complete my projects at home (the live part of my blog)
3. Continue with my writing (the create part of my blog)
4. Continue training for my upcoming half marathon (the run part of my blog)

Not to shabby.  We'll see how it goes.  I have accomplished something from goal 1 today so now it is on to goal 2.  Projects.  I have been pretty good at working around my home for the last few weeks but it gets harder when the actual cleaning part kicks in.  The decorating part is far more fun.  Below is a picture of the new shelves I hung last week.  The cat on the pillow seems to approve.

Day 1

Today is the first day of my new challenge to myself.  I have goals, don't we all?  However, I find that I am too easily distracted.  I have a hard time finishing things before moving on to new goals.  So, to help with this situation, I have decided to start blogging about my goals.  Goal number 1: try to post here every day.
